Our communities benefit from the investments made through EPA funding – from clean air, drinking water, and healthy salmon populations to pollution reduction, clean water, and flood prevention. Important work to drive smart stormwater solutions and to accelerate orca recovery depend on vital federal funding.

Given the uncertainty over how and where the final budget for these valued EPA programs will land during the federal budget process in January, we are asking you to make your voice heard, using social media to call on our Members of Congress.

Thank them for their support for federal environmental programs, and ask them to work toward adoption of a fully-funded EPA budget to protect our drinking water, rivers, lakes, and Puget Sound and our fight against pollution.

Use social media to call on leaders to #SaveEPA. Click here to tweet or post on our congressional members’ Facebook pages.

Here is a sample tweet: Washingtonians ask you to keep raising your voice for #PugetSound! Keep fighting for a strong budget to #saveEPA!

Together we can use our voices to protect what makes Washington special!
