Asks for support for clean water bill

"The clean water bill coming up in the legislative session is an opportunity to take an optimistic and practical approach to create jobs and help restore our beautiful Puget Sound waters.

With the economic slowdown, local governments have far less revenue for storm water projects. These fees and taxes come directly out of our pockets. More than half the water pollution comes from petroleum products. Seems only fair the industry starts paying a more equitable share. Funds generated will go to shovel ready projects that put families back to work..."
