Legislative Hot List
The Hot List goes out almost every week during the state legislative session and contains up to 10 of the most important environmental bills being debated that week.

- Special Joint Supplemental Hot List for the State House and Senate
- We recognize you are faced with tremendously challenging budget choices. That choice for critical environmental programs is about preventing major problems for the future of this state and the quality of life for its citizens. With that context we offer the following suggestions for the House and Senate Budgets.
- April 17 - Special Supplemental Hot List
- The environmental community supports a strong ESHB 1294 and we ask for a 'YES' vote.
- April 15- Special Supplemental Hot List
- Occasionally, the environmental community will send out Special Supplemental Hot Lists when important bills reach the Floor. The environmental community opposes ESHB 1950 and we ask for a 'No' vote.
- April 15 - State Senate Hot List
- Home stretch! Let’s pass a good bill here and say “no” to a very bad one. We can end the session on a high note, let’s do it!

- The environmental community’s position on the House and Senate Operating and Capital Budgets.
- April 1 - State Senate Hot List
- SHB 1017, part of our Clean Energy Solutions priority, has a hearing in the Senate this week. ESB1294, part of our Toxic-Free Kids & Families Act will also be heard in the Senate.

- Only three bills on the hot list this week. Two concerning water issues and the third relating to mercury-containing lights.
- March 25 - State House Hot List
- Governor Inslee's Climate Action Bill passed through the state legislature today! Other things to look for this week: water rights, building codes, and mercury-containing lights.
