Save the Date, the 2013 Green Gala is Saturday, November 16th
This year’s Green Gala was a HUGE success. Over 450 friends of the environment gathered at the Washington State Convention Center Skybridge to celebrate a year of environmental wins for the state.
Guests enjoyed a night of catching up with friends, walking the Green Carpet, learning about WEC’s work and 40+ year history and sipping on signature cocktails like the “Coal Train Rum-ble” and “Douglas Fir-tini”.
Thanks to the generosity of our event attendees over $180,000 (net) was raised for WEC’s work to protect, restore, and sustain Washington’s environment.
During the program, environmental leaders from across the state stood and spoke words of thanks to Governor Christine Gregoire for her years of service on behalf of Washington state’s environment.
