WEC is partnering with Washington Bus to bring you the nation's scariest, most fun, and craziest get out the vote event!
Halloween isn't just about the candy anymore, it's about getting people excited to do their civic duty. Throw on your craziest costume and join us on the streets of Seattle as we distribute non-partisan election guides, remind people to vote, generate awareness before election day, and have crazy amounts of fun.
Getting the word out about R-52, Healthy Schools for Washington (WEC's latest campaign) is one of the main goals of the evening.
Trick or Voters will be meeting at Washington Hall in Seattle’s beautiful Central District on Halloween afternoon at 3 pm sharp for some quick training and to pool our collective excitement. At 4:30, we break out into teams and go talk to some voters! (oh, and horde candy). When the clock strikes 7, we’ll pour back into Washington Hall for some tasty eats, drinks, and the craziest costumed dance party this state has ever seen. It’s all free and open to all ages.
There are other events going on all around the state, so if you live outside of Seattle be sure to check out the website.
