The Governor has convened a process to get citizen input in crafting the state budget. As part of this process, the Governor is holding a series of public meetings to discuss the budget and hear from people throughout Washington. So far there have been packed events in Tacoma, Everett, and Vancouver. The last event is tonight in Spokane!

The meetings are critical opportunities to stand up for a blueprint for the state that we believe in – one that includes essential environmental protections.

If we eliminate core environmental programs, our state will see more kids with asthma, toxic sites that won't be cleaned up, and fewer protections for our air and drinking water.

You have a chance to make sure the Governor and her panel hears loud and clear that the budget needs to reflect our values - and that includes protecting our environment.

Spokane

When: Thursday, July 29th 5-7
Where: Spokane Community College, 1810 North Greene Street, Spokane, WA
