On May 21st, Seattle will host one of only two EPA public hearings in the country on their proposed finding that global warming pollution is a threat to human health. The finding is a critical step toward national climate policy.
This hearing provides a great opportunity to show the nation and decision-makers that we demand action on climate change and clean energy.
We’re planning a big rally outside the hearing for all of us to say with one strong voice: it’s time to tackle climate change!
Want to do more? Tell your friends!
WEC and many other community groups are working to turn out a big crowd for the rally! Will you help us make that happen by becoming a Rally Magnet? Being a Rally Magnet means that you'll bring five friends to come to the Rally on May 21st. It’s easy to sign up – click here.
Once you sign up, you’ll get to use nifty online tools to invite your friends and stay tuned into what’s happening. You’ll also be eligible for great prizes like meeting the main speakers and restaurant gift certificates.
This is our first major opportunity since the presidential election to demonstrate decisive and overwhelming support for bold federal action on global warming. There are only two public hearings nationwide for this federal ruling - we hope you can make it!
