As part of the Sustainable Path Seminar Series, WEC Executive Director Joan Crooks and Michael Hightower of the Energy Security Center in New Mexico highlight a major dilemma as our nation seeks to reduce its reliance on oil: the burden placed on our limited water supplies through the development of many renewable energy sources.

In the second part of this seminar, Joan and Michael will bring these issues home to Washington State, as they discuss the environmental legislative priorities and what our state is doing now to meet the changing needs of our region.

The evening includes a reception, the seminar, and post-session networking.
